Research Interests:

Dr. Wood's climate-specific research interests/activities involve the study of the role that clouds and aerosols play in the climate system, from the process scale to the regional scale. Rob is US PI on two recent field experiments to study aerosol-cloud-precipitation-climate interactions, and his research involves the use of a broad suite of observations including satellites, aircraft, and ground-based sensors, together with simple models.
